EFAP (Emergency Food Pantry)

Fighting Food Insecurity with Real Impact.

Emergency Food Assistance Program

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (Food Pantry) is designed to reduce the number of families experiencing food insecurities in Alamance County. Households experiencing emergency situations qualify for food assistance. Once every three months (90 days), households may receive emergency food, which includes a three- to four-day food supply. Special dietary foods may be available upon request. Applicants must show proof of residency (ex. license, ID, utility bill in the applicants own name).

Our Alamance Food Pantry is located at: 142 South Lexington Avenue, Burlington NC 27215

In our 2024-2025 fiscal year we made a meaningful impact in Alamance County to reduce food insecurity through the EFAP program and community partnerships. We will continue fighting hunger and expanding support to ensure more families have reliable access to food.
